About me and Midnight

A bit about me:  My name is Brandy Belenky.  I'm born and raised in New Jersey and currently reside in Jersey City with my 12 year old malamute mix Midnight.  

I consider myself a functional artist.  I love being able to make things that people can really live with and enjoy in their daily lives.  I've worked predominantly in the jewelry industry, but also love making everything from shoes to wallets to coasters to the occasional piece of furniture.

This website contains a smattering of the projects I've worked on and hope to create in the future.  I

2024 for me really has been a journey - My dog midnight has been sick at this point for over a year with fungal bronchitis / pneumonia, and I started the year with covid, which became bronchitis and then a pseudomonas fluorescens infection.  The infection is gone, but as part of the treatment I've been in a long term disability battle with my body after taking 4 days of ciprofloxacin at the beginning of March 2024.  Now in June I find myself unemployed and am hoping a new fun adventure comes out of this through the NY Unemployment's SEAP program.  More to come - enjoy the pics of midnight
